Congratulations to Aubrey Smith who was chosen to perform in the ARMTA Calgary Outstanding Student Recital at St. David’s United Church in Calgary on February 8th, 2025. This recital recognizes students with exceptional results on their Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Exams. Pyper obtained a mark of First Class Honours on her Grade 3 in person piano exam in June 2024. Congratulations Aubrey!

Congratulations to Greta Peterson, Aubrey Smith and Wynn Phung who preformed beautifully during The Vault Cultural Collective's Celebration of the Arts on November 22, 2024. Aubrey, Greta and Wynn enjoyed performing on The Vault's new Roland GP-6 electric grand piano during the event! They also enjoyed meeting MLA Chantelle de Jonge who attended the Celebration of the Arts to congratulate and thank The Vault Volunteers who give so much of their time and energy to The Vault each and every day! Bravo Aubrey, Greta and Wynn!!

Congratulations to Wynn Phung on a fine performance at his third Calgary Chinese Music Development Association Youth Music Competition. The competition was held at the Boris Roubakine Hall at the University of Calgary on October 5, 2024. Wynn placed 3rd and received a $100 scholarship in the Junior Division participating with pianists 12 years and under from the Calgary area. The adjudicator was Mr. Dale Jackson of Calgary.

Congratulations to Brianna Hollingsworth, Sophia Greep, Luke Matatall, Tavia McKinnon and Wynn Phung for receiving awards. Congratulation as well to Connor Riou for his musical theatre performance and to Connor and Sophia Fabris for their musical theatre awards. This recital recognizes students with exceptional results on their Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Exams. Foster obtained a mark of 90 on his Grade 1 piano exam in June 2022 while Ava received a mark of 88 on her Grade 7 piano exam in June of 2022.

Congratulations to the Fuoco Piano Quartet for receiving 3rd Place in Chamber Music 17 and Under in the Canada West Performing Arts Festival, held at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, July 22 & 23, 2022! The Fuoco Piano Quartet; Brianna Hollingsworth, Elizabeth Muller, Gabriel Muller and Parker Riou, represented the Alberta Music Festival Association and the Strathmore Performing Arts Festival at the inaugural event. Bravo to these amazing young musicians!

CONGRATULATIONS to Sophia Fabris for being awarded a Silver Medal in the Piano Junior 1 Category in the Alberta Registered Music Teachers' Association, Calgary Branch, 2021 Calgary Recital and Awards (ACRA). Sophia received the second highest mark on her June 2021 Grade 1 Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Exam. Sophia will perform and receive her medal and scholarship virtually on January 29th, 2022.
